SUBJECT: Budget Amendment for Fiscal Year 2025-26
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
The Plant City Fire Department contracts with the annual Strawberry Festival to provide Fire and EMS services. The Fire Department has an estimated cost of $104,600 that needs to be added to the budget. The festival will be invoiced for this overtime cost, therefore there is no actual cost to the City, however, without the budget adjustment this line item will be overbudget.
RECOMMENDATION:
That the City Commission adopt a resolution to approve an amendment to the budget for the year ending September 30, 2026, which provides for the above adjustment.
