SUBJECT: Mediation Settlement Agreement
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
On October 12, 2023, Daniel Johnson sustained a work-related injury. A Workers Compensation mediation was conducted on Monday, March 2, 2026, resulting in tentative approval of a Mediation Settlement Agreement by the City with Daniel Johnson and a release of all claims, subject to approval by the City Commission.
RECOMMENDATION:
That the City Commission approve the Mediation Settlement Agreement with Daniel Johnson.
FISCAL IMPACT:
The settlement in the amount of $75,000 will be paid from the Worker’s Compensation Fund, Org #52056601, Obj #449400 - Stormwater Department - Claims
