EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
Plant City Fire Rescue Station 1, constructed in 1993, is a single-story building that is approximately 10,900 square feet located at 604 East Alexander Street. The fire station features the firehouse on the west side of the building and administrative offices on the east side with an apparatus bay in the center separating the two sides. It also includes the complete renovation of the office side as well. Fire Station 1 will also receive exterior modifications based on the final renovation design and will receive exterior upgrades including some parking modifications and landscape improvements.
The scope of services includes schematic design, design development, construction documents, permitting, cost estimate, assisting with the construction procurement stage, and construction administration. The project is scheduled for 30 weeks for design and engineering and 40 weeks for construction. The total project schedule is 70 weeks from Notice to Proceed.
