SUBJECT: Agreement for Debris Disposal
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
The Streets and Stormwater Department Tree Management Division requires a disposal site capable of handling both small and large tree debris. A Request for Bids was issued, resulting in a single submission. The bid has been evaluated and determined to meet the City’s requirements.
Pricing is based on $30 per ton plus a $20 load charge, with an annual estimated cost of $27,060. The annual estimate may vary depending on the needs of a particular year/season.
RECOMMENDATION:
That the Commission approve Agreement #26-009SS-CS-IFB with Atlas Organics CU08, LLC for tree debris disposal management services on an as-needed basis for a one-year term, and authorize the City Manager to execute the option to renew the agreement for up to four (4) additional one-year periods.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Funds are available in the Stormwater Fund.
