SUBJECT: Resoulution authorizing the City Manager to execute an
amendment with Motorola Solutions for managed
Geographic Information System (GIS) Services.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
The City of Plant City Police Department utilizes the Motorola Spillman Flex Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) system to support police and fire service calls. To ensure continued effective operation, system support and functionality, staff recommends these additional services for GIS training, consultation and managed services. The proposal for these services is for a three (3) year subscription term at a cost of $88,724.52, with an annual cost of $29,574.84. Approval of this item will allow uninterrupted service and ongoing support for this critical public safety system through March 31, 2029.
RECOMMENDATION:
That the City Commission authorize the City Manager to execute an amendment with Motorola Solutions for managed GIS services for $88,724.52.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Funds are available in the General Fund.
