SUBJECT: Phase 2 GIS Data Conversion and Utility Network Readiness
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
The City has successfully completed Phase 1 GIS Data Model (DM) updates, which standardized utility data and aligned it with Esri’s Water Distribution Data Management Model (WDDM) and Sewer Data Management Model (SDM). This alignment allows the City to fully leverage its Esri Enterprise Agreement (EA) and ArcGIS Online capabilities.
Phase 2 represents the next critical step, transitioning toward an intelligent, data-driven asset management environment and preparing for use of Esri’s Utility Network (UN) implementation. This alignment allows the City to fully leverage its Esri Enterprise Agreement (EA) and ArcGIS Online capabilities.
RECOMMENDATION:
That the City Commission authorize the City Manager to execute the Consultant Work Order with Dewberry in an amount not to exceed $200,700 for Phase 2 of the GIS Data Conversion and Utility Network Readiness.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Funds are available in the Water/Sewer Fund.
