SUBJECT: Budget Amendment for Fiscal Year 2025-26
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
This budget adjustment appropriates $142,437 in the Water Sewer Fund for the communication tower infrastructure retrofit to strengthen the reliability of the City’s utility communication systems.
Community Development Block Grant - Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) funds are being awarded by Florida Department of Commerce Hazard Mitigation Grant Program. The additional funding will assist in providing a safer, stronger, and more resilient response to natural disasters.
RECOMMENDATION:
That the City Commission adopt a resolution to approve an amendment to the budget for the year ending September 30, 2026, which provides for the above adjustment.
