SUBJECT: Contract with World Sports Turf and Marketing, LLC for sports field maintenance
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
The Parks division uses natural athletic turf, ballfield clay, and other field-maintenance materials throughout the year.
Athletic field turf, mowing, clay work, comprehensive field maintenance, and related services can be provided by World Sports Turf and Marketing, LLC, through piggyback of Hillsborough County contract ITB-24197.
This service is provided on an as-needed basis through July 31, 2028. Annual usage is approximately $85,000.00.
RECOMMENDATION:
That the City Commission authorize the City Manager to execute a contract with World Sports Turf and Marketing, LLC, through piggyback of Hillsborough County contract ITB-24197, for sports field maintenance materials and service on an as-needed basis.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Funds are available in CIP # PK036- Park Improvements
