SUBJECT: Legislative public hearing on an ordinance (12-2026) to annex 2 parcels totaling 2.19± acres - ANX-2025-07.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
The Planning and Zoning Division has received a voluntary annexation petition for 2 parcels totaling 2.19± acres.
ANX-2025-07 contains two (2) parcels totaling 2.19± acres and is located at the southwest corner of Johnson Road and James L Redman Parkways. The application states the reason and intended use for annexation is for future development.
The resolution to set this public hearing included ANX-2025-06. On July 7, 2026 the applicant, Hung Mai, submitted the attached email requesting that the application be removed from the agenda in order for it to be heard concurrently with the associated land use amendment and the rezoning.
RECOMMENDATION:
That the City Commission adopt an ordinance, as amended, approving the annexation of 2 parcels totaling 2.19± acres.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Potential increase in non-residential development.
