SUBJECT: Peregrine Technologies - FDLE Grant Award
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
The Plant City Police Department is requesting grant funding in the form of reimbursement from the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) to purchase the Peregrine Operations Management Platform for use in enhancing law enforcement services to our citizens and better leveraging resources with regional law enforcement partners.
RECOMMENDATION:
That the City Commission authorize the City Manager or his designee to execute a grant agreement with the Florida Department of Law Enforcement for $271,352.00 to be used for the purchase of Peregrine Technologies software.
FISCAL IMPACT:
There will be no impact to the City; however a budget adjustment is included in the agenda packet to record the revenue from the granting agency and appropriates funds in the General Fund: Police, Uniform Patrol, Org # 00153002, Obj # 434100 - Computer and Software Services
