SUBJECT: Purchase of Vehicles and Equipment
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
Citywide vehicle and equipment purchases are approved as part of the annual budget process. As each new fiscal year commences, specifications for all approved vehicles and equipment are developed by the Fleet Division and sourced through the procurement process.

Replacement vehicles and equipment purchases exceeding $25,000, regardless of offsetting insurance payments, will be reported to the City Commission at the next regular meeting.
This proactive approach will afford the City the best opportunity to source and acquire items as they become available to order and purchase. Purchases more than $25,000 will be reported to the City Commission.
RECOMMENDATION:
That the City Commission adopt a resolution authorizing the City Manager to take all action necessary to purchase the vehic...
