SUBJECT: Resolution authorizing the City Manager to execute a contract with
Best Roofing Services, LLC for roofing services citywide under Omnia Contract R230402.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
The City’s Facilities Division has an Asset Maintenance program for maintaining, repairing, and replacing roofs on City facilities. A national cooperative contract is available through Omnia Partners for the repair or replacement of all types of roof systems.
Best Roofing Services has been vetted and qualifies to meet the City’s needs under this piggyback contract. They will provide roofing repair and replacement services through an ongoing contract for as-needed services at various City locations. Services are defined in Omnia Contract R230402, valid through October 31, 2027.
RECOMMENDATION:
That the City Commission authorize the City Manager to execute a contract with Best Roofing Services through piggyback of Omnia Contract R230402 for roofing repairs and replacement services on an as-needed basis.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Funds are available in Asset Maintenance Project GS004.
