SUBJECT:                     Resolution ratifying collective bargaining agreements with the

                                                               International Association of Firefighters Local 2013.

                                                                      

   

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:

                                          

The two bargaining units within Fire Rescue have approved the collective bargaining agreements negotiated with the City Manager. One agreement is with the positions of Driver/Engineer, Driver/Medic, Fire Inspector, Firefighter/EMT, and Firefighter/Paramedic. The other agreement is with the Fire Captains. The one-year agreements provide for a 5% pay increase.

 

RECOMMENDATION:

 

It is recommended that the City Commission adopt a resolution ratifying the two collective bargaining agreements.

 

FISCAL IMPACT:

 

The fiscal impacts have been included in the budget.
