SUBJECT: Resolution setting a legislative public hearing to annex 8 parcels totaling 112.1± acres. (ANX-2025-04 & ANX-2026-01)
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
The Planning and Zoning Division has received a voluntary annexation petition for 8 parcels totaling 112.1± acres.
ANX-2025-04 contains six (6) parcels totaling 78.14± acres and is located north of I-4 between N. Wilder Rd. and Charlie Taylor Rd. The application states the reason and intended use for annexation is for future development of a multi-family apartment community.
ANX-2026-01 contains two (2) parcels totaling 33.96± acres and is located east of James L Redman Pkwy, north of Sparkman Rd, and west of Gerald Hall Rd.
Both cases are scheduled to be heard by the Planning Board on September 23, 2026.
RECOMMENDATION:
That the City Commission adopt a resolution setting a public hearing for Monday, October 23, 2026 on a request to annex 8 parcels totaling 112.1± acres.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Potential increase in residential and non-residential development.
