SUBJECT: Master Services Agreement with Hydra Service, Inc.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
The Utilities Department requests to piggyback the City of Palm Coast Contract ITB-UT-24-41 with Hydra Service, Inc. for a Master Services Agreement. This contract will provide the necessary technical support and manufacturer-authorized services required to maintain Sulzer/ABS pumps at LS-054, located on Charlie Taylor Road, and also all other services included in the Master Services Agreement.
Hydra Service is the authorized regional service provider for Sulzer/ABS pumps and is covered under an existing competitively procured contract with the City of Palm Coast Contract ITB-UT-24-41. Piggybacking this contract will ensure timely, reliable maintenance and repair services while meeting procurement requirements and minimizing operational risk. The anticipated annual expenditure under this contract is estimated to range between $50,000 and $150,000, contingent upon operational and maintenance needs.
RECOMMENDATION:
That the City Commission authorize the City Manager to execute an agreement with Hydra Service, Inc. through piggyback of the City of Palm Coast Contract ITB-UT-24-41, for a Master Services Agreement.
FISCAL IMPACT:
The funds are available in the following Water/Sewer Projects: UM019, UM020 and UM041.
