SUBJECT: Resolution authorizing the City Manager to consent to the assignment of engineering and design services from Applied Sciences Consulting, Inc to Applied Sciences Consulting, LLC
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
The City contracts with Applied Sciences Consulting, Inc (Applied Sciences) for engineering and design services. Staff has been notified that Applied Sciences has been acquired by Parsons Transportation Group, Inc. Following the acquisition, the Applied Sciences Consulting entity type has been converted from a corporation to a limited liability company, now known as Applied Sciences Consulting, LLC, while retaining the same FEIN (20-3212557). The company has requested the City’s consent to the assignment.
Staff reviewed the qualifications submitted by Applied Sciences Consulting, LLC and determined the firm remains suitable for continued use, as the change is administrative in nature and the expertise, staff, and resources serving the City remain unchanged.
RECOMMENDATION:
That the City Commission authorize the City Manager to consent to the assignment of engineering and design services agreement from Applied Sciences Consulting, Inc., to Applied Sciences Consulting, LLC.

None.
